Accountant – Tax & Treasury

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong expertise in UAE taxation and treasury operations to support our finance function across the UAE. The role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local tax regulations, and effective cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Oversee treasury activities such as cash‑flow monitoring, banking transactions and liquidity management.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and support corporate tax compliance and planning.
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Produce financial statements, balance sheets and management reports in line with IFRS.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist internal and external auditors and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA) preferred; tax certification highly valued.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE market.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP; familiarity with Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
