Accountant – UAE Group Companies (Temporary, Potential Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee the accounting and financial operations of a group of companies based in the UAE. The position starts as a temporary assignment with a strong possibility of becoming permanent, depending on performance and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities for multiple group entities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and periodic reports.
• Handle VAT filings, corporate tax documentation, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Oversee company registrations, renewals, and related financial documentation.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations, as well as ledger management.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities as required.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and overall financial transactions.
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Experience handling accounting for multiple companies or groups is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Immediate joiners preferred and must hold a valid UAE residence visa.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
