Accounting Supervisor (AP/AR)

About the role

Nas Neuron Health Services, part of the Cigna Group, is looking for an Accounting Supervisor in Dubai to manage and oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations. The role uses data analytics, business intelligence, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, reduce financial risk and strengthen cash flow visibility, while supporting the Network Finance function's AP/AR ownership, banking governance, receivables management and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee AP operations: invoice processing, payment approvals, bank and account reconciliations, and ensure payments meet contractual timelines
• Monitor receivables ageing and collections, lead collection follow-ups, identify delinquent accounts and perform payer reconciliations
• Build and maintain AP/AR dashboards and KPI reports, analyse cash flow and aging trends, and give management data-driven insights
• Use Excel, Power BI and SQL to build automated reports and scorecards, and run predictive analysis on collections and payer behaviour
• Promote AI and automation: adopt AI finance solutions, use RPA and workflow automation for AP/AR tasks, and act as a finance champion for digital transformation
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs and UAE financial regulations, support audits and monitor financial risks
• Lead AP/AR process improvement projects and supervise and mentor AP/AR team members, collaborating with Claims, Operations, CRM, Legal, Provider Relations and IT

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, commerce, business administration or a related field
• 3-5 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role
• Strong AP/AR operational experience; UAE healthcare insurance, TPA, payer, provider or healthcare finance experience is highly desirable
• Experience managing high-volume financial transactions and stakeholder relationships

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot)
• Power BI and dashboard development
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Sage, Dynamics 365)
• Working knowledge of AI tools, Microsoft Copilot and RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) is an added advantage
