Accounts Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Platinum Baz General Trading LLC in Deira. The role is ideal for a fresh graduate who wants to start a career in accounting and gain hands‑on experience with receivables, invoicing and cash handling.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounting receivables and incoming payments in line with company policies.
• Prepare, verify, classify, compute, post and record accounts‑receivable data.
• Create and issue invoices, send statements of account to customers and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Receive daily collections, issue receipts and record them accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare daily and weekly collection reports and ageing analysis for management meetings.
• Resolve customer billing inquiries, issue credit notes and address discrepancies.
• Enter petty‑cash transactions in the accounting software and investigate variances.
• Support other accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or fresher with a keen interest in finance.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong numerical aptitude and good communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software for data entry and reporting.
