Accounts Manager – High-Volume Trading Business

About the role

The Accounts Manager will lead all accounting operations and financial reporting for a high‑volume trading organization with over 100 active dealers and more than 1,000 inventory SKUs. The role combines hands‑on system management, team leadership, and strategic financial analysis to support business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in preparing and implementing the Finance Department’s business plan.
• Direct departmental activities in line with company strategies and policies.
• Review all financial and accounting transactions for accuracy and proper documentation.
• Define finance staff job descriptions, promote teamwork, and coordinate with other departments for timely financial information.
• Manage, maintain, and improve the Focus ERP system, including user training, access rights, and vendor enhancements.
• Oversee supplier invoice processing, customs documentation, and payment approvals.
• Supervise periodic and annual inventory counts and chair the inventory count committee.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, maintain chart of accounts, and reconcile ledger balances.
• Supervise cash counts, manage cash balances, and maintain banking relationships.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register and supervise asset counts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a high‑volume trading or distribution environment.
• Management of accounting operations for 100+ dealers/customers with credit facilities.
• Experience handling accounting for 1,000+ inventory items (SKUs).
• Fluent Arabic language skills.
