Accounts Officer – Treasury

About the role

Wahed is a global fintech building an interest‑free financial system. The company is seeking an Accounts Officer – Treasury to join its Finance team in the UAE. The role supports daily payments, liquidity management and treasury activities across Wahed’s international entities, ensuring funds are deployed efficiently and financial controls are strong.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and payment process, from invoice review to payment execution.
• Verify supporting documentation, approvals and segregation‑of‑duty controls before payments.
• Prepare and maintain weekly payment visibility across all Wahed entities.
• Monitor AP ageing and payment due dates to ensure timely supplier payments.
• Partner with accountants and business teams to perform vendor reconciliations.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting and funding visibility for the Finance team.
• Coordinate inter‑company transactions and resolve financial issues impacting operations.

Required profile

• Experience in Accounts Payable, treasury or related finance functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of financial controls and cash‑flow management.
