Accounts Supervisor – Payables & Control

About the role

As a key member of the finance team at Al-Futtaim Automotive, you will support dealership operations across sales and after‑sales, providing decision support for budgeting, forecasting and MIS while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the full Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice verification, coding, approvals and payment processing.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, reconcile vendor statements and monitor aging reports to ensure timely settlements.
• Oversee cash control, sales accounting, credit control, stock controls and audit follow‑up.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting: additions, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals and periodic reconciliations.
• Administer corporate insurance policies, renewals and claims, and coordinate employee medical insurance with HR.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks, drive process improvements and automation initiatives, and support internal and external audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, supplier reconciliations, general‑ledger controls and statutory reporting (VAT, WHT, tax).
• Practical experience with fixed‑asset accounting, depreciation and insurance administration.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
