Adjunct Lecturer – Marketing (University Level)

About the role

Murdoch University Dubai is seeking an experienced Adjunct Lecturer to teach undergraduate marketing units. The role involves delivering high‑quality lectures and tutorials in both face‑to‑face and blended formats, helping students bridge theory and practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, workshops and online activities for core marketing subjects.
• Create an inclusive, student‑centred learning environment.
• Assess student work, provide timely feedback and maintain academic standards.
• Utilise contemporary teaching methods and Learning Management Systems such as Moodle.
• Integrate current marketing practices, industry trends and real‑world case studies into teaching.
• Support students in developing analytical, strategic and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, participate in moderation and academic meetings.
• Maintain professional currency through ongoing engagement with marketing practice and scholarship.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Marketing or a closely related discipline (undergraduate qualification in Marketing required).
• PhD in Marketing or related field is highly desirable.
• Minimum 2–3 years of university‑level teaching experience, preferably in undergraduate marketing.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum delivery, assessment and student engagement.
• Relevant professional experience in areas such as Global Marketing, Strategic Marketing or Services.

Required skills

• Moodle or equivalent Learning Management System.
