Adjunct Lecturer – Mathematics & Statistics

About the role

RIT Dubai is seeking an Adjunct Lecturer to teach undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses for the Spring semester (Jan – May 2027). The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality instruction and support student learning in a university setting.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 100‑level mathematics and/or statistics courses, delivering lectures, discussions, and problem‑solving sessions.
• Prepare and follow an approved syllabus and textbook, designing assignments, quizzes, exams, and other assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of grades and attendance, and submit grades by institutional deadlines.
• Hold regular in‑person office hours to assist students.
• Attend required departmental meetings, trainings, and adhere to university policies on academic integrity and accessibility.
• Utilise technology and statistical software, including AI‑based tools, where appropriate.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience teaching multiple university‑level mathematics or statistics courses.
• Excellent communication skills.
