Administrative and Constitutional Law Faculty (Associate/Full Professor)

About the role

The College of Law at the American University in the Emirates invites applications for full‑time faculty positions at the Associate Professor and Full Professor levels in Administrative and Constitutional Law for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The successful candidate will teach, assess, advise, and contribute to the college’s academic and community service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver research‑driven teaching in Administrative and Constitutional Law, using case‑based learning, moot court, and legal analysis exercises.
• Develop and review curricula to ensure relevance, rigor, and alignment with legal developments.
• Assess student performance, assign grades, and provide clear feedback.
• Participate in departmental committees, professional service, and community outreach.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Law (Public Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law or related) from an accredited U.S. or internationally recognized university, completed by recruitment.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching or professional legal experience at an internationally accredited institution or relevant legal practice.
• At least three Scopus‑indexed journal articles or five peer‑reviewed law journal articles published within the past five years.
• Proven record of excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Required skills

• Strong English communication skills; Arabic proficiency where applicable.
