About the role
The Administrative Officer will be the first point of contact for parents, guests and vendors at Jumeirah International Nurseries. This role combines front‑desk duties with comprehensive office support to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and delivers a welcoming environment for children and families.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and direct parents, guests and vendors, handling telephone inquiries professionally.
- Provide secretarial and clerical support to the Nursery Manager, including correspondence handling and data entry.
- Organise and support the execution of nursery events and admissions processes.
- Maintain the reception area, visitor logbook, and issue visitor badges to ensure security.
- Manage inventory of supplies, place orders, and verify receipt of goods.
- Update and maintain the nursery’s social media accounts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to complete projects and ensure compliance with nursery policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work under general direction and support day‑to‑day operations.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
- Experience with social media management for an organization.
- Basic inventory and procurement handling.
