Admissions Assistant

About the role

Greenfield International School, an International Baccalaureate World Continuum school founded in 2007, is looking for a proactive and organised Admissions Assistant in Dubai. The post works closely with the Admissions Manager to give a professional admissions service to enquirers, applicants and their families, from the UAE and abroad, in a busy, varied role with daily contact with academic staff, pupils and visiting families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a professional admissions service to enquirers, applicants and families, handling enquiries, making appointments and conducting interviews and testing as appropriate on a daily basis.
• Work with the Admissions Manager to deliver efficient, effective support and adhere to procedures.
• Support the team at all times and help cover the Admissions Manager's absence.
• Multi-task and prioritise under pressure in a multi-cultural environment.

Required profile

• Relevant degree.
• 2-3 years' experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a service provider industry; education sector experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to form customer relationships and close sales.
• Results-driven, tenacious, attentive and resilient, able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Effective oral and written communication.
• Solid time management and computer literacy, including Excel and social media platforms.
• Written and spoken Arabic is desirable.
