Advisor Reservoir Geology Geomodeling

About the role

The Advisor Reservoir Geology Geomodeling will support ADNOC’s exploration and development activities by creating robust geological models of reservoirs. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure that data collection, modelling, and analysis meet the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define data collection parameters in collaboration with other disciplines.
• Design and execute complex studies to identify new prospects and develop play concepts.
• Appraise subsurface models for accuracy and technical integrity.
• Review drilling, logging, coring, and well‑testing programs for cost‑effectiveness.
• Participate in appraisal‑well proposals to assess reserves and extensions.
• Integrate geoscience and reservoir‑engineering data using the Petrel modelling tool.
• Produce static reservoir models incorporating structure, facies, and diagenesis.
• Generate geological models to support development planning and production forecasts.
• Conduct uncertainty analyses and provide sensitivity data for volumetric studies.
• Supply up‑scaled reservoir grids to the reservoir‑engineering team.
• Assist drilling teams with well‑planning and trajectory analysis in Petrel.

Required profile

• Strong background in reservoir geology and geomodeling.
• Experience working on integrated oil‑and‑gas projects.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical findings.
