AE Procurement Specialist

About the role

The AE Procurement Specialist will support AMANA Group’s industrial construction projects by identifying the most suitable materials and subcontractors, ensuring that cost, schedule and quality targets are achieved. The role involves maintaining a technical library, managing vendor databases, and coordinating procurement activities with the planning and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market visits and attend trade shows to expand the supplier network.
• Develop, maintain and update the technical library with supplier brochures and catalogs.
• Identify and pre‑qualify new subcontractors offering competitive prices, quality and payment terms.
• Maintain the material procurement database and generate logs required for the procurement plan.
• Issue Request for Quotations (RFQs), collect responses, and upload quotations to the SharePoint module.
• Prepare comparison sheets for technical, price, schedule and budget evaluation and obtain manager approval.
• Provide material samples for client/consultant approval and support the construction team with timely deliveries.
• Review and initial local purchase orders, and prepare letters of intent, acceptance and subcontract agreements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement and subcontractor management within construction or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications, material selection and vendor evaluation.
• Ability to work closely with planning, construction and project teams to meet schedule requirements.

Required skills

• SharePoint for document management and data upload.
• Preparation and analysis of RFQs and comparison sheets.
• Vendor pre‑qualification and technical evaluation.
