Agile Project Manager – Digital & SAP Automotive

About the role

techcarrot FZ LLC is looking for a Project Manager in Dubai to enable high-performing Agile and hybrid delivery teams to deliver digital and SAP-led automotive initiatives. You will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, coach Scrum practices, remove impediments and ensure delivery aligns with the product roadmap, timelines, scope, quality and approved budgets, within the PPM&OE framework.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation to closure following the PPM&OE Project Management Plan (Charter, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Ways of Working), and set up schedule, scope, budget, quality, risk, vendor and resource plans with variance tracking.
• Drive project milestones such as kickoff, business blueprint sign-off, SIT/UAT readiness, cutover, go-live, hypercare and PMO closure.
• Manage chargebacks, monthly cost reconciliation and POD/IO-level financial tracking with Finance.
• Coach the team on Scrum and Agile, facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments and partner with Technical Product Owners and business stakeholders.
• Act as main contact between teams, business owners, vendors and partners, run steering committees, program reviews and weekly status meetings, and escalate escalations to the Program Manager / Head of PPM&OE.
• Support discovery, scoping, solutioning, effort estimation and timeline forecasting, and take part in RFI/RFP and vendor discussions.
• Provide status reports on progress, risks, cost vs forecast and benefit realization, and promote continuous improvement and Agile maturity.

Required profile

• 8+ years of overall IT delivery experience, with 5+ years as a Project Manager / Scrum Master in Agile and hybrid environments.
• Proven track record of digital and/or SAP-led transformation projects, ideally in automotive or comparable enterprise domains.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder management skills, including with senior business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe or equivalent) mandatory; PMP or PRINCE2 preferred; Agile coaching certification an added advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with multi-vendor delivery and integration across SAP, digital layers and third-party platforms.
• Working knowledge of capacity planning, delivery forecasting, CAPEX/OPEX, chargeback and financial governance.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Microsoft Project / Project Online, Confluence, SharePoint and Teams.
• Nice to have: UAE / GCC experience, SAP S/4HANA, RISE, EWM, B2C/B2B platforms, Visio, Power BI and Generative AI tools.
