AGL Engineer – Aviation Ground Lighting Specialist

About the role

The AGL Engineer will support ENOVA’s airport projects in the United Arab Emirates, focusing on the design, installation, testing and maintenance of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) systems. The role requires strong electrical engineering expertise and hands‑on experience with airport airside infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and commission AGL systems for new and existing airport projects.
• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HV and LV switchgear related to AGL.
• Integrate AGL software with SAP AGL, Oracle databases and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and execute test automation scripts to validate system performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Agile methodology to deliver project milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Control Systems or a related discipline.
• OEM or equivalent certifications for relevant AGL systems.
• 6‑8+ years of experience in AGL systems, electrical maintenance, or airport airside infrastructure, preferably in an international airport environment.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with operation and maintenance of HV and LV switchgear.
