AI Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Specialist

About the role

Halian is recruiting an experienced AI Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Specialist in Abu Dhabi. The role strengthens the organization's ability to identify, assess and respond to emerging threats targeting AI, machine learning, large language models (LLMs) and intelligent systems. It covers analysing AI-focused cyber threats, monitoring adversarial techniques and turning intelligence into detection, testing, governance and mitigation actions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, assess and analyse cyber threat intelligence on AI, ML, LLM and agentic AI systems
• Monitor emerging threats, attack techniques, vulnerabilities and supply chain risks affecting AI environments
• Map adversarial tactics against MITRE ATLAS, MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP LLM Risks
• Produce intelligence reports, threat advisories and executive briefings
• Translate threat intelligence into detection, monitoring and mitigation requirements
• Partner with Security Operations, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering and AI Engineering teams
• Support validation of controls protecting AI platforms, models and infrastructure
• Develop attack scenarios and threat models for enterprise AI deployments
• Track AI security trends, give risk-ranked mitigation recommendations and support security governance and AI risk management

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Security Operations, Threat Hunting or Cybersecurity Analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience developing intelligence products and threat assessments
• Preferred: banking, financial services or highly regulated industry experience, exposure to AI governance and model risk management, and experience with threat hunting and adversary emulation exercises
