AI - Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Halian is seeking an AI‑focused Full Stack Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will design and build AI‑enabled microservice platforms, leveraging modern cloud and DevOps practices to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement microservice and agent‑based architectures.
• Develop Python backend services and integrate REST APIs and gRPC endpoints.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters on Azure AKS, using Helm for deployments.
• Implement progressive delivery strategies such as canary and blue‑green releases.
• Utilise Azure cloud services, including API Management and Cosmos DB.
• Orchestrate AI agents with Semantic Kernel or similar frameworks.
• Handle SSE streaming, async job and task management.
• Set up logging, monitoring and observability using Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and enforce JWT/OAuth2 authentication patterns.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong background in system design, microservices, and cloud-native development.
• Proven expertise in Python backend development.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes/AKS and Helm.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and API Management.
• Ability to start immediately or within 15 days.
