AI GTM Consulting - Public Sector

About the role

NTT DATA is hiring an AI Consultant and Public Sector AI Lead for the Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai. You will act as a senior client-facing advisor in the Global Public Sector AI Go-to-Market team, advising government and public sector organisations on AI strategy, value cases, operating models, governance and transformation roadmaps, with an initial focus on the UAE and nearby markets.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as senior AI advisor to public sector clients, engaging executives and shaping market demand
• Identify AI transformation opportunities, pain points, priorities and high-value use cases
• Shape AI strategies, value cases, operating models, governance frameworks, responsible AI approaches and adoption plans
• Lead consulting activities such as executive workshops, stakeholder interviews, assessments, prioritisation and roadmap development
• Develop proposals, business cases, ROI models, proof-of-concept plans and executive client materials
• Support opportunity qualification, deal shaping, solutioning, mobilisation and transition to delivery
• Build the qualified public sector AI pipeline and contribute to commercial targets
• Maintain pipeline visibility in Salesforce and reuse global GTM assets
• Bring regional client insights back to the global team and stay current on generative and agentic AI

Required profile

• 10+ years in consulting, professional services, strategy, transformation, AI, data or analytics
• At least 3 years delivering AI, data science, ML, generative AI or digital transformation initiatives
• At least 5 years working with public sector organisations in the UAE
• Demonstrated success leading AI or digital transformation in public sector settings
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; master's, MBA or AI/ML certification advantageous
• Fluency in English, Arabic strongly preferred; security clearance compatible with government and defence clients
• Willingness to travel at least 15% across the Middle East and Africa

Required skills

• Strategy consulting: business model analysis, operating model design, value cases, transformation planning
• Presales and GTM: opportunity qualification, proposal development, business cases, executive deal reviews
• Enterprise AI concepts: LLMs, AI agents, RAG, ML lifecycles, responsible AI, governance and adoption
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Gemini, Databricks or Snowflake
