AI Value Architect

About the role

The AI Value Architect owns the end‑to‑end AI value journey for a specific business area, acting as the technical product leader between business stakeholders and engineering squads. You will translate business outcomes into a prioritized AI backlog, lead a standing squad of Forward Deployed AI Engineers, and stay hands‑on by coding alongside the team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the AI value journey for the assigned business area, from discovery through production and measurable impact.
• Translate business needs into a prioritized AI backlog, make decisions on what to build, defer or discard.
• Lead a standing squad, set technical direction, and ensure quality, security, evaluation and cost are on track.
• Stay hands‑on: code, review, and shape the agentic AI architecture alongside the team.
• Define success measures, feedback loops and validation gates to demonstrate business impact.
• Align AI efforts across squads, surface reusable patterns and prevent parallel reinvention.

Required profile

• Deep business understanding, preferably in aviation or a similarly operations‑heavy domain, with the ability to act as a credible peer to senior stakeholders.
• Hands‑on engineering experience building and shipping agentic AI solutions; still codes alongside the squad.
• Track record of single‑threaded ownership of a product or outcome from discovery to measurable business impact.
• Experience leading and coaching a small technical team, setting direction on architecture, quality, evaluation, security and cost.
• Fluent English and comfortable working in a culturally diverse, international environment.
• Typically 8+ years of software and AI experience, including hands‑on GenAI and LLM work.
