Aircraft Technician – Assessment Day in Kuala Lumpur

About the role

Etihad is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join its Technical Operations team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role involves performing maintenance on Airbus and Boeing aircraft as part of an assessment day, with full relocation support provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance tasks on Airbus and Boeing aircraft in line/base environments.
• Ensure maintenance complies with the latest technical data, quality notices and safety standards.
• Prepare all required materials, tooling and documentation before each task to support on‑time performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to maintain a complete overview of aircraft status.
• Maintain a FOD‑free work area and clean the bay before and after work.
• Return unused serviceable and unserviceable items to stores with correct labeling.
• Clean and return tooling and equipment in serviceable condition or label as defective.
• Participate proactively in health and safety initiatives and promote a reporting culture.

Required profile

• Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent formal training with an airline or approved organization.
• 3‑5+ years full‑time hands‑on experience in line or base maintenance on commercial Airbus or Boeing aircraft.
• Experience working in an airline hub or MRO/base maintenance environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work as part of a team.
