Airport Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Airport Engineer to lead the design, construction and regulatory compliance of airport infrastructure projects in Madinat Zayed. The role requires deep knowledge of international aviation standards and hands‑on experience with airport authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply ICAO, FAA, and EASA standards across airport design and construction activities.
• Coordinate with airport authorities, regulatory agencies and stakeholders to secure approvals.
• Review and validate engineering designs, reports and technical documentation.
• Support development and review of airside and landside infrastructure, including pavements, taxiways, runways, drainage and utilities.
• Identify design or compliance issues and provide clear engineering recommendations.
• Participate in technical meetings, inspections and regulatory reviews.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in airport engineering, aviation infrastructure or related civil works.
• Proven experience collaborating with airport authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
