Alternate Site Manager

About the role

The Alternate Site Manager co‑manages daily operations, maintenance, personnel and services for the assigned location, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage basic support services and labor force, supervising skilled workers across multiple departments.
• Schedule personnel, supervise work, and ensure quality control as directed by the Site Manager.
• Oversee workload scheduling, communicate issues to Site Manager/PMO, and submit timely reports.
• Maintain equipment and material, ensure compliance with fire alarm and fire suppression contract requirements, and act with full authority in the Site Manager’s absence.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years management experience and at least 8 years in facilities operations, HVAC, fire suppression/alarm systems, or related fields.
• Experience working with US government/military personnel and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills; ability to work shifts and 24/7 operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant technical/military training preferred.

Required skills

• NFPA knowledge and certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to prepare management reports.
• Understanding of fire, safety and environmental protection requirements.
