Apprentice Graduate Trainee – Vehicle Maintenance

About the role

Join EDGE Group's Apprentice Graduate Trainee Program and gain hands‑on experience maintaining light and heavy tracked vehicles for the UAE Armed Forces. Over 12 months you will receive structured training, mentorship, and exposure to a full range of maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in technical inspections, troubleshooting, disassembly, repair, rebuild and overhauling of tracked vehicle systems.
• Support technicians in maintaining major assemblies such as powerpacks, engines, transmissions and final drives, as well as sub‑assemblies like starters, generators and suspension components.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to manufacturer manuals and directives.
• Complete and record maintenance documentation, including work orders and parts requests.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping and environmental standards.
• Manage tools, PPE and workshop inventory, returning serviceable and unserviceable parts as required.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Apprentice Program Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred) and completion of formal vocational training.
• Ability to read, speak and write English.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence (or ability to obtain one).
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics.
