About the role

The Grammar School Dubai is seeking a dedicated Arabic A Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction to secondary‑level students. You will plan, deliver and assess Arabic lessons, fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Use data to monitor student progress, set targets and plan subsequent lessons.
• Assign homework and design out‑of‑class activities to consolidate learning.
• Participate in examinations and assessments as outlined in the teachers’ manual.
• Utilise student progress information to improve teaching, inform parents and support school inspections.
• Address the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs, gifted and talented, EAL and disabilities, using differentiated approaches.
• Promote high standards of literacy and correct spoken English alongside Arabic instruction.
• Apply observation, assessment and monitoring strategies to set challenging objectives for diverse learners.
• Provide accurate, constructive feedback and encourage self‑reflection.
• Maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment and manage behaviour consistently.

Required profile

• Understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements for Arabic at secondary level.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for varied abilities and learning needs.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student welfare.
• Effective communication with students, parents and school leadership.
