Arabic A Teacher – Middle School (Start Jan 2027)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Arabic A Teacher for middle‑school classes (primary and secondary) to join GEMS FirstPoint School in Dubai, starting in January 2027. The role involves delivering the Arabic curriculum, fostering a love of language, and contributing to a vibrant, inclusive learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Arabic A lessons for primary and secondary students.
• Prepare engaging resources and adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs.
• Participate in extra‑curricular activities and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Literature or equivalent.
• Valid teacher‑qualifying certification.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at primary or secondary level.
• Strong command of written and spoken English (IELTS 6 or higher).
• International school teaching experience in Dubai is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using IT tools for lesson planning and assessment.
