About the role

Al Rayana Charter School, an American‑curriculum primary school in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a passionate Arabic Teacher to join its mixed‑gender community starting August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Arabic language lessons, support student progress, and contribute to the school’s vision of a sustainable, innovative learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Arabic language lessons that cater to the full ability range of primary students.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system and provide constructive feedback to parents.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design interdisciplinary units and ensure curriculum alignment.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour in line with school policy, and promote student wellbeing.
• Work with specialist staff such as speech therapists or educational psychologists when required.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and school events.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Arabic language curriculum for primary education.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

• Flexibility to work collaboratively and adapt teaching strategies based on assessment data.
