Architect – Design Delivery & Coordination (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our design team and lead the delivery of large‑scale aviation projects from concept through completion. The role involves ensuring all designs comply with international codes, IATA/ICAO standards, and UAE authority requirements while coordinating across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an active member of the design team, guiding projects from concept to final delivery.
• Ensure designs meet international codes, IATA/ICAO standards, and UAE authority submission requirements (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, Estidama, etc.).
• Guarantee that all project deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports) satisfy contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate technical efforts across disciplines and with sub‑consultants, conducting quality reviews at each stage.
• Serve as the project’s design coordinator, participating in client and authority approval meetings.
• Maintain systematic documentation for traceability and audit purposes.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience on large‑scale projects, preferably in the aviation sector.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Membership in UAE or country‑specific Society of Engineers.
• International accreditation (RIBA, AIA) and sustainability certification (LEED, PQP, WELL) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE codes/regulations, IATA ADRM, ICAO Annexes, fire & life safety, accessibility, and sustainable design principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
• Experience with 3D rendering tools: Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine.
• Parametric and computational design tools: Grasshopper, Rhino, Dynamo.
• AI‑driven design tools: Spacemaker, TestFit, Autodesk Forma, ArchiGAN.
• Collaborative platforms: BIM 360, Navisworks, Asite, Primavera Cloud.
• Awareness of digital twin platforms and integration with asset management systems.
