Architect – Design & Development (Dubai)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a visionary Architect to join its dynamic design team in Dubai. You will create innovative architectural concepts and guide projects from initial idea through construction, contributing to the city’s evolving skyline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive design concepts and master plans for residential, commercial, mixed‑use and institutional projects.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies, considering climate, environmental factors and UAE regulations.
• Produce technical drawings, specifications and construction documents that clearly convey design intent.
• Manage the design development process, ensuring alignment with client goals, project objectives and local building codes.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants and multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural solutions.
• Incorporate sustainable design practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience delivering architectural projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of UAE building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
