Architect – Real Estate Development (Business Bay, Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a creative, detail‑oriented Architect to join our real‑estate development team in Business Bay, Dubai. The role involves conceptualising, planning and overseeing architectural design for residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts and design presentations, including design briefs, space planning and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate and review architectural drawings, material selections and design specifications to align with brand positioning and market trends.
• Work closely with engineering consultants, contractors and project managers throughout execution, monitoring design progress and ensuring timely submission of drawings and approvals.
• Attend design coordination meetings, conduct site visits and review shop drawings, material submittals and mock‑ups for compliance.
• Obtain approvals from Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, Civil Defense and other authorities, ensuring adherence to UAE building regulations and sustainability requirements.
• Support procurement and commercial teams with material selection, technical evaluations and value‑engineering while maintaining design quality.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve design‑related issues and coordinate rectification of deviations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 5–8 years of architectural design and coordination experience within a real‑estate developer, consultancy or construction firm.
• Registered with Dubai Municipality / RAK Municipality for unlimited projects and member of the UAE Association/Society of Engineers.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and approval processes.
• Experience in residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments preferred.
