Architectural Building Construction Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Architectural Building Construction Inspector to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role involves conducting thorough on‑site inspections to ensure projects comply with building codes, architectural specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections at various construction stages and document findings precisely.
• Verify compliance with approved architectural drawings, UAE building codes and regulations.
• Analyse construction materials, methods and workmanship against established quality standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, maintain records of violations and corrective actions.
• Identify deficiencies, safety hazards and non‑compliance issues and communicate them to project managers and contractors.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and construction teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Photograph and document construction progress and areas of concern for project records.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements throughout inspections.
• Recommend corrective measures and verify implementation of required corrections.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in building projects.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture.
• Proven experience as a Building or Construction Inspector.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical plans.
• Proficiency in quality‑assurance and compliance verification procedures.
• Excellent organisational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
