Architectural Building Construction Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Inspector to oversee architectural building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring compliance with building codes, architectural specifications, and quality standards throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough on‑site inspections at various construction stages and document findings precisely.
• Verify compliance with approved architectural drawings, UAE building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze construction materials, methods, and workmanship to confirm they meet established quality standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain organized records of inspections, violations, and corrective actions.
• Identify deficiencies, safety hazards, and non‑compliance issues and communicate them to project managers and contractors.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Photograph and document construction progress and any areas of concern for project records.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all inspection activities.
• Recommend corrective measures and verify implementation of required corrections.
• Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders regarding inspection outcomes and project status.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in building projects.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture.
• Proven experience as a Building Inspector, Construction Inspector, or similar role.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical plans.
• Proficiency in quality assurance and compliance verification procedures.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules efficiently.
• Preferred background in construction project management or site supervision.
