Architectural Construction Supervision Manager

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented Manager to lead architectural and construction supervision on projects in Abu Dhabi. You will act as the primary liaison between design teams, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring that every phase meets design intent, safety standards, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on‑site construction activities to align with architectural plans, specifications, and approved drawings.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and safety audits in accordance with UAE construction standards.
• Manage communication with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to guarantee timely delivery and resolve construction‑related issues.
• Review progress reports, timelines, and budgets, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and photographic evidence.
• Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to clarify designs and address on‑site challenges.
• Oversee contract administration tasks such as change orders, claims, and documentation.
• Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative environment for on‑site teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in construction supervision and site management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Proven expertise in architectural supervision and deep knowledge of building codes and construction standards.
