Architectural Inspector - Site Supervision

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Inspector professional to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role you will oversee architectural quality standards and site compliance, ensuring all construction activities align with approved plans, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive architectural inspections at various construction phases to verify compliance with design specifications, building codes, and UAE construction standards.
• Supervise on‑site construction activities and coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to approved architectural plans and quality standards.
• Document inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain organized records of all site observations and corrective actions.
• Identify and communicate design discrepancies, construction defects, or non‑compliance issues to project stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Review and analyse construction materials, finishes, and workmanship to ensure they meet specified quality requirements.
• Coordinate with safety personnel to ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in architectural inspection and site supervision.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and UAE building regulations.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and building systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in site safety management and compliance protocols.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Knowledge of UAE building regulations and construction standards.
• Quality assurance and quality control processes in construction.
