Area Sales Manager – French Speaker

About the role

Lead sales of currency automation products and services across French‑speaking North, West and Central Africa. Build strong relationships with public and private sector customers, drive new business opportunities and ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual sales targets and develop a 3‑5 year account strategy for the region.
• Generate leads through sales visits, conduct technical presentations and negotiate contracts with high‑ranking officials.
• Coordinate with sales administration, project management, service and finance to follow project milestones and ensure accurate forecasting in Salesforce.
• Monitor competitor activity, provide market feedback and support product marketing.
• Organise bi‑weekly cross‑functional meetings, track open issues and ensure timely order processing and proposal preparation.

Required profile

• Business‑fluent in French and English; German or Arabic is a plus.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• Minimum 10 years sales management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in pipeline development, go‑to‑market planning and key account management in government sectors of French‑speaking African countries.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the sales region.
