Art Director

About the role

ChillBase is developing OneState, a mobile social role‑play game built in Unity. As Art Director you will lead the visual direction of the project, ensuring AAA‑level quality while balancing the constraints of mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the overall art strategy together with the Chief Creative Officer.
• Build an autonomous art structure, including roles, ownership, standards, and processes.
• Maintain visual consistency and AAA‑level quality across the product.
• Make and defend key visual decisions at producer and director level.
• Develop senior art leads and grow strong leaders within the team.
• Balance quality, timelines, cost, and business value.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Art Director or Head of Art on game projects.
• Strong expertise in mobile AAA realism and deep understanding of mobile platform limitations.
• Experience building art systems, standards, and pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate with producers and directors as partners.
• Strategic mindset, high ownership, and strong communication skills.
• Native Russian language.
