Asian Hot Kitchen Commis

About the role

Join Accor’s vibrant culinary team in Dubai as a Commis in the Asian Hot Kitchen. You will work on a high‑volume Pan‑Asian line, focusing on wok‑cooked dishes and delivering authentic flavors with consistency and flair.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily preparation and cooking of Pan‑Asian hot dishes, ensuring quality, taste and presentation.
• Operate the wok station, preparing stir‑fries, noodles, fried rice, sauces and other Asian specialties.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef by following recipes, portion standards and plating guidelines.
• Prepare mise en place and keep the wok and hot‑kitchen stations organized for service.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Store, label and rotate ingredients properly to preserve freshness and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with the culinary team during peak periods and assist other kitchen sections when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Pan‑Asian hot kitchen or similar high‑volume hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, sauces and flavors.
• Experience preparing Asian noodles, stir‑fries, fried rice and other hot dishes.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards.
