Assistant Analyst - Data Security

About the role

The Assistant Analyst – Data Security supports the Access Governance and Data Security Governance functions within the Group Information Security Department. This position is responsible for performing timely access reviews and data security assessments to strengthen the bank’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct access reviews for business and infrastructure applications, ensuring compliance with access governance policies and the principle of least privilege.
• Coordinate with business units, HR, and the Information Security Department to remediate unauthorized or risky access.
• Manage privileged account reviews and assess exceptions to the approved access matrix.
• Govern the Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solution and enforce workflow policies.
• Support bank‑wide data classification, develop and maintain DLP policies, and perform periodic DLP policy reviews.
• Provide KPI/KRI reporting related to data security and participate in security programs, audits, and gap analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field from an accredited university.
• At least one security, risk, or IT certification (e.g., Security+, ISO 27001) held or in progress.
• Ability to work independently without detailed guidance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools such as Forcepoint or Microsoft Purview.
• Familiarity with information security frameworks, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience managing policy exceptions, documenting compensating controls, and defining remediation actions.
