Assistant Bar Manager

About the role

The Assistant Bar Manager will support the Bar Manager in delivering memorable food and beverage experiences for guests at Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island. This onsite role combines team leadership, resource planning and close collaboration with kitchen and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate resources to ensure smooth bar operations.
• Manage, mentor and train the Food & Beverage team.
• Supervise daily duties, delegate tasks and uphold brand standards, SOPs and quality measures.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to maintain high food quality and visual appeal.
• Monitor guest feedback and drive continuous improvement of satisfaction scores.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar bar or restaurant management role.
• Degree in Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage.
• Extensive beverage knowledge and a service‑focused personality.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to ensure consistent service across the outlet.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving abilities and leadership by example.
