Assistant Chief Engineer – Resort Operations

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join the engineering team at a beachfront resort in Ras Al Khaimah. The role supports the Chief Engineer in ensuring all hotel equipment and facilities operate efficiently and safely, in line with Radisson Blu standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain hotel systems and equipment to achieve optimal operating efficiency.
• Ensure safety across all engineering areas and coordinate with the security team on safety matters.
• Manage third‑party service providers and oversee assigned projects.
• Keep all engineering documentation up‑to‑date and properly archived.
• Monitor stock levels, track orders and deliveries, and work with store personnel.
• Organise training and development activities for the engineering team.
• Maintain the appearance and housekeeping of workshops and related spaces.
• Plan and schedule routine and preventive maintenance, including manpower programming.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive technical experience in a hotel or resort environment.
