Assistant Cluster Safety Manager

About the role

Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, a luxury hotel in Dubai, is looking for an Assistant Cluster Safety Manager. The role ensures a safe environment for employees and guests and protects the hotel's assets, assisting the Country Director of Security in overseeing daily safety and security operations across both hotel properties.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, guide and monitor Security Officers to ensure operational efficiency, discipline, vigilance and compliance with security standards.
• Train and develop security team members in CCTV operations, incident reporting, patrol procedures, access control, emergency response and first aid.
• Carry out regular security patrols, inspections and operational audits to identify risks and check compliance with procedures.
• Conduct internal investigations, prepare detailed incident reports and follow up on security cases.
• Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment to ensure proper functionality and surveillance coverage.
• Coordinate emergency responses such as fire, medical incidents, bomb threats, evacuations and police assistance.
• Keep security teams and other hotel departments coordinated, and assist in performance appraisals, training needs and mentoring.
• Carry out security risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain brand standards and coordinate with local authorities, Dubai Police, Civil Defence and other emergency services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hotel security, preferably in five-star or luxury hospitality in the UAE.
• SIRA Security Supervisor or relevant security certification, and valid First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
• Certified Fire Warden / Fire Marshal training and Civil Defence-approved fire safety and emergency response training.
• Knowledge of UAE fire and life safety regulations, SIRA requirements and local security procedures.
• Training in incident investigation, emergency management, crisis response and security risk assessment.
• Experience with CCTV, access control and security management systems.
• Fluent English; Arabic and other languages are an advantage.
