Assistant Community Manager

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the management of a jointly owned property, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the community. The role acts as a liaison between the owners association board, residents, service providers and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise team activities, conduct appraisals and provide performance feedback.
• Ensure full compliance with Jointly Owned Property Law and related regulations.
• Develop, coordinate and facilitate the registration and formation of the owners association (OA).
• Manage relationships with OA board members, homeowners and service providers.
• Organise and chair OA board meetings and Annual General Assemblies.
• Oversee community finances, insurance claims and common‑area services.
• Maintain comprehensive records, contracts and communication channels.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audit service provider performance and drive improvements.
• Liaise with government authorities and prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
• Handle health‑and‑safety issues, crises and emergencies.

Required profile

• Experience supervising a team and conducting performance reviews.
• Strong knowledge of Jointly Owned Property Law and association governance.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with board members, residents and external partners.
• Ability to organise meetings, prepare reports and present analyses.
• Proactive attitude towards compliance, safety and service quality.
