Assistant Compliance Manager – Wealth Management

About the role

The Assistant Compliance Manager – Wealth Management supports the Head of Wealth Compliance in overseeing daily compliance activities for Emirates Islamic Bank’s wealth management division. The role ensures that products, services and investment activities meet the requirements of the UAE Central Bank and the Securities and Commodities Authority, while providing timely regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor SCA and Central Bank circulars, assess applicability and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Review wealth management products, services, proposals and counter‑party agreements for compliance approval.
• Conduct compliance monitoring of investment activities and follow issues through remediation.
• Prepare and reconcile data for regulatory submissions, departmental reports and management information.
• Assist with regulatory surveys, licensing requirements, audits and ad‑hoc projects.
• Support staff training and knowledge‑sharing initiatives within the compliance unit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a reputable institution.
• 2–3 years of experience in banking or a multinational organization.
• Strong written and spoken English with the ability to interact across all management levels.
• Proactive, organized, detail‑oriented and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
