Assistant Engineer (Electrical Maintenance)

About the role

The Assistant Engineer will support the Engineering Section by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures reliable operation of automatic doors, cleaning machines, electrical and diesel forklifts, and other critical assets while adhering to safety and cGMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and components.
• Maintain automatic doors, cleaning machines, electrical forklifts, and diesel forklifts.
• Identify, report, and mitigate technical faults and safety risks.
• Execute breakdown maintenance activities and follow SOPs, manuals, drawings, and technical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, repair or replace damaged parts.
• Follow quality systems, safety procedures, and cGMP requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to avoid production interruptions.
• Support all electrical activities during shifts and collect daily electrical parameters.
• Coordinate SAP PM/CM notifications, receiving reports, and purchase requisitions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, guidelines, generation and distribution systems.
• Understanding of cGMP and data‑integrity principles.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
