About the role

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, a Forbes Five‑Star luxury hotel. This leadership position ensures the delivery of exceptional housekeeping standards, contributing to guest satisfaction and the hotel’s reputation for elegance and impeccable presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in leading housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, offices, and meeting spaces.
• Plan, coordinate, delegate and oversee daily to annual housekeeping activities to maximise efficiency and service consistency.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Waldorf Astoria brand standards and Forbes Five‑Star expectations.
• Support the implementation and administration of departmental systems, policies, procedures and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop housekeeping supervisors and team members through performance management, feedback and engagement initiatives.
• Maintain the departmental training calendar, facilitate training programmes and ensure accurate documentation of training records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury hotel housekeeping management.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Excellent communication and performance‑management skills.
• Ability to plan and organise large‑scale housekeeping operations.
