Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

Freedom Broker Global Markets is expanding its finance team in Abu Dhabi and is looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager. You will support the Finance Manager in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and completeness of financial records across multiple group entities.
• Manage the accounts payable cycle, including invoices, payroll, and taxation.
• Monitor company liquidity, cash investments and flag any shortfalls or unusual movements.
• Identify and highlight financial, regulatory or operational risks promptly.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial information in line with Group Reporting instructions and US GAAP.
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects as required by the business.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of finance experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Ability to interpret IFRS and US GAAP standards.
• Attention to detail, proactive attitude and good analytical skills.
• Comfortable working under pressure with minimal micromanagement.
