Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support our finance team in overseeing equity funding, hedge‑fund investments and day‑to‑day financial operations. The role will work closely with senior management to ensure accurate reporting, compliance and strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing equity funding activities, evaluate opportunities and prepare related financial information.
• Support analysis and management of hedge‑fund investment opportunities aligned with company objectives.
• Represent the company in negotiations with banks, financial institutions and other funding partners.
• Prepare monthly and year‑to‑date financial reports in compliance with IFRS.
• Develop regular reporting and analysis for sales, inventory, costing and customer collections.
• Lead the budgeting process under senior management direction.
• Oversee quarterly and annual statutory audits, coordinate with external auditors and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, tax regulations and real‑estate specific requirements (DLD, RERA).
• Manage operational payments, supplier/vendor settlements and monitor collections to eliminate defaults.
• Produce monthly MIS reports for top management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in commerce, MBA in Finance or CA/CPA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting/finance role within a reputable organization.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly for the real‑estate sector.
• Familiarity with DLD and RERA regulations for real‑estate projects.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach an accounts team.
