Assistant Head Teacher - Inclusion

About the role

GEMS Founders School Dubai is seeking an Assistant Head Teacher – Inclusion to join its leadership team from August 2026. This senior position offers an experienced educator the chance to shape inclusive practice within a British Schools Overseas accredited international school.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely interventions and support.
• Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Required profile

• Embody the school’s core values of Grow, Flourish & Succeed.
• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in both primary and secondary settings.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach inside and outside the classroom.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues, students and parents.
• Proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
• Aspiration to develop a career in a world‑class international school.
• Willingness to contribute actively to the school community and culture.
