Assistant HVAC Technician

About the role

This position supports the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance of HVAC systems within cleanrooms and production facilities. The assistant works closely with senior technicians and maintenance teams to ensure optimal environmental conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), exhaust and chilled water systems.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including filter replacement and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor HVAC parameters, report abnormalities, and document actions taken.
• Help ensure cleanroom environmental compliance and adherence to GMP requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance crews during shutdowns and scheduled maintenance.
• Follow all safety and pharmaceutical GMP procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or cleanroom environments is preferred.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.
