Assistant Manager – Accounting and Finance

About the role

KPMG Middle East is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and manage accounting and finance projects of small to medium size, delivering high‑quality outcomes for clients across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project work‑streams, analyse data, draft reports and present findings to clients.
• Plan and deliver engagements, manage timelines, resources and project documentation.
• Act as a client ambassador, maintaining relationships and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Coach junior team members, providing supervision and mentorship.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA).
• Minimum 5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in a Big Four audit or advisory team.
• Experience in the MENA market and knowledge of industry sectors such as Energy, Healthcare, Financial Services or Public sector.

Required skills

• Extensive technical accounting experience in IFRS and IPSAS.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Visio, Blueworks and Aries.
